Blogging for Business

I inspired to write this post, after read a topic from Ozzie’s blog. He was writing about Brainstorming Business. He said that blogging is empowers people and people love to be heard. Anyway, I want to share information about blogging for business and hope with those information can help you who worker in business, specially for Ozzie. Here the information :

Meryl K. Evans said from a business sense, Blogging is regular updates, it improves search engine rankings. Also, I believe in having a personal touch and making a connection with others. It gives companies the opportunity to put a "face" behind the name to show there are real people working to serve their clients. It also allows companies to regularly update its employees on hot issues. The goal is currently to share and learn. The blog is a great and easy tool for regularly updating the Web site and connecting with others.

Wayne Hurlbert said blogging is first and foremost a personal document, a real voice is given to the person or organization who maintains the blog. That personalization enables a business or non-profit organization to express their thoughts and ideas on a human and personal basis. The often alleged faceless corporation or non-profit is replaced by living, breathing human beings. The overall result of a multi-faceted event like this one will be greater awareness of the power of blogs and the general dissemination of ideas. There will also be further realization of the relationships that blogging can foster between the many stakeholders inside and outside of an organization.

I have taken this information from PR Blog Week 2.0. If you want to read complete file about those topic, please send an email here and I’ll send to you. I hope, it’ll help you!!.

I totally agree with both of them. Unlike the usual company site, blog does give a human face for the business because it is human that wrote it, not just another faceless top executive ramblings about things that you might not understand and does not "connects".

Hey, if I'm not mistaken in your post several entries back, do you have a job-interview call? Probably you could also apply for the company's professional blogger :)
